An illustration I drew for the newsletter of the Jerusalem Zoo. Modern zoos house great apes to educate the visiting public about the need to conserve these animals in the wild. Because of their attractiveness to visitors, these exhibits have proven to be a powerful tool in education and raising awareness of conservation issues.
